Search CTR vs. Content Targeting CTR

I just started and am glad that I found this board, it's very helpful.

I'm projecting here cause I just put an adgroup up an hour ago and it's looking like this might happen. I'm curious how google will handle an adgroup that is performing like such:

Content Targeting Imp=20 Clicks=5 CTR=25%
Search Imp =1000 Clicks=0 CTR = 0%

So the total average CTR=0.0049%

This will most likely end up disabled. However, it would be really beneficial for both google and myself if my ads could keep showing to the content targeting sites. The ad is performing quite well for content targeting sites. Is there an option to keep ads showing just for content targeting even if they don't perform well under the search (google.com search) category?

Welcome DerekOntario, We're glad you found the board too and hope you find it helpful!

So far the measure by which ads are judged by Google as to relevancy is the CTR on Google only. A great CTR on content or search syndication doesn't keep em' up if the CTR on Google is very low. So yes, chances are the ad will get disabled before long if it hasn't already come down.
