Hi Guys,

I'm newer than an AdWords Newbie because I haven't had an AdWords account yet :-) But I really think that it's a great opportunity to earn some money after work. The problem is I don't know how to start it. I don't have a website. I don't have a product at hand for sale. So my questions are:

1. Where should I go to find something to sell? Should I go to places like clickbank.com to select some affiliate programs?
2. Should I build a website? Or should I just launch some adwords campaigns and directly use the URLs of affiliate programs as the destination URLs in the advertisements?
3. What should I know about how to select a good product or service to sell?

Do you have any advices about these questions? Are there some good materials about these?

Thanks in advance!

Victor

It is usually a good idea to know *what* you are going to sell and *how* you are going to sell it before you *advertise* it!

If you are just looking to make some extra money. I would recommend clickbank or cj.

Hello and I am new to Adwords. I seem to have troubles with Keywords and the "Keyword" section being slowed. I know this is a strange request but does any person have time for a conversation on the phone about Ad Words and there experience? If anyone can help I would be happy to hear from you. Many Thanks

sometimes it is slow during midday (lots of use?) and also if you have lots of words that can slow it down a bit (in my experience more than 300 wds).

It is also *very* slow on a mac. (bugs me since I am on a mac and my $$$ are just as green!)

Call adwords support - They are really nice and helpful.

Sounds like you're looking for an affiliate program(s). While I don't run any myself, there are apparently some here that do so successfully. Here's the basics of what I've gleaned:
- read the forums here. It will take days, but do it anyway.
- the experts at pubcon indicated that cj and the others were a good source, but good independent affiliate programs can be found as well - look into both
- find quality companies that have high markup products that pay well. Nobody will give you names, but some combination of those factors is what you're looking for.
- read read read the adwords forum here for tips on how to get 5 cent traffic
- get a website. Hosting is dirt cheap these days.

I asked a couple of pros at pubcon about an affiliate idea I had and they suggested I build a site to drive the traffic to instead of driving directly to the affiliate. While that may have been just for my market, it seems that by doing so you would ultimately have a saleable product in the website alone (branding and all that).

:) It's been crazy at the office since lolly-gagging around at all the search events for almost 2 weeks. ;) Just gotta clear it with the brass here and we'll put up a link to it....
