I have a term that has had a huge jump in impressions and clicks. My server is not picking up 35% of them so the "person" is there so short of a time that they don't register. The impressions from Google stats looks like this:

16 - 4575
17 - 4242
18 - 4261
19 - 4055
20 - 21,579
21 - 25,038
22 - 21,397
23 - 30,795

Date then impressions. It took me a few days to find out where the leak was. I just new I was $300 poorer everyday and I had no clue as to why. I know at first you think news or something but this is one term of many and the other terms are all nice and flat trend lines. Sort of like if "blue widgets" and "blue wids" where "wids" is short for "widgets". You would expect both to have a jump or at least some movement where the other one did a 400-700% jump. I hope Google finds the culprit and locks him out or whatever they can do.

Just got the phone with Google and here was the result. They did not feel there was anything up. OK I can live with that as I love Google so I can suck up one term.

Possible solution was to take this term to another adgroup and shut off everything but Google and see if that helps. Trying that now.
