Any way to get a discount on Adwords?

Looking for a way to get a discount on my Adwords campaign

I saw a PPC managament company that makes it money (so they claim) by keeping a discount they have negotiated with Adwords. The user pays the same fee and they make their money on the spread.

This led me to wonder if there was anyone out there that was just aggregating Adwords buyers or Overture buyers out there?

I am also looking for more of these providers (PPC managers who make their money on the back-end) so if someone knows of others please let me know.

dont think anyone gets a discount as such.

there are companies/agencies in the UK, who manage accounts for a lot of businesses and get a certain % as agency fee (as is common in all forms of advertising).

however I can assure you that this is NOT just given out to every tom, dick or harry, ONLY bona fide AGENCIES get this,

hope that helps in some way

Look for AdWords coupons at conferences. Typically they are worth up to $300.00. One can be used per account.

Those coupons should not be allowed. All they do is let people bid up keywords for free .. and guess who ends up paying for them?

Agency discounts kick in if you're spending a lot on an individual account. You have to place an Insertion Order that commits you to a spend over a certain time. However, these discounts don't apply to all countries.

Shak, I just wanted to say I find your mature and thoughtful responses very inspiring.

Releasing coupons is much the same as the fed printing 'free money'. It causes inflation to occur and the value of everyone elses 'dollar' becomes much less.

eBay had a program where they gave every new user 50$ in free banner advertising. Basically, nobody would bother using the program because of all the 'free money' in the system, making bids on advertising space beyond the capacity of people looking for real return.

"free money"
should a restaurant owner give free desserts or free apps to certain people? The same logic applies. That's why he laughed. Google is a private company and should whatever it thinks it's best for Google's business. If it becomes too expensive for you, don't buy ads from them.

logiclamp,

I personally know of dozens of small businesses who started on the road to Pay for performance advertising with a google adwords voucher.

heck, I have been partly responsible for a number of them, and been the giver of the voucher, just to show people how it can make a difference.

a number of these are now very big adwords spenders, so to say what you said, is absolute non-sense (imo)

Would anyone happen to know exactly what qualifies one for the agency discount, and how much that discount is?

Also, is there a way to get those vouchers without going to conferences? I'd love to have a few to give to prospective clients who are scared of doing Adwords. That $50USD (US only, unfortunately) promo Overture runs has helped me get some clients to try Overture.

Well I got a $25.00 coupon, and this month alone I spent $75.00 in adwords. I know I am small potatoes, but coupons are not like printing "free money". They are a very good way to entice new users.

Hmmm...I guess this threads have a mind of their own. The original questions were:

1)Is there anyone aggregating Adwords buyers to get a discount? I am not looking for anything free...but discount.
