I am trying to work out how to use adwords to target new customers to my site.
I have bought an ebook and started implementing the results. I have created 12 adgroups for various key words and phrases and their associated phrases etc but now I am lost as my ads are only appearing some time during the day as I have set a low daily budget while i work out what in fact I really should be doing. What is the easiest way to start and monitor?
Anybody got real experience in this field to start me up..... Seems like I have 12 adgroups with loads or words in each but no control over what I am doing?
where should I start?

my advice would be to spend some time readin this forum, or as you have already mentioned in another post.

employ the services of a professional.
I am not being negative here, but would it not make sense for you to run your business, and let a specialist do the adwords :)
everything that needs to be known is out there...

If you have a low daily budget and your ads are appearing only a few times a day, there is no point in paying what you are paying right now. If you want to do some testing with a small budget, start from $0.05 and go higher.
>>> but no control over what I am doing?
You are already controlling your campaigns well by keeping a low budget limit. Now let the clicks roll in and measure the conversion rate. Based on the conversion rate and your profits per sale/lead, you can arrive at the price to pay per click.
>>> How do you decide what key words to use?
You know the business better than we do. Do not use single keywords like "cars". Use phrases like "buy cars".
