Is there any way to guestimate from the traffic estimator what your cost per click will actually be or likely be to receive a given postion or a given number of clicks per day? e.g. Suppose you wanted to bid on the keyword green-widgets, how can you tell from the traffic estimator how much your Cost per click would likely be to get 1st, or 2nd or 8th?

When you use the traffic estimator for keywords, I have seen clicks per day results of <.1 or .2 or .9 etc even if I entered a high cost per click;this means these searches per their records are rarely requested?

Thanks

The traffic estimator is not very reliable, it mainly gives you an idea of the magnitude of the traffic. The only way to find out is to try....
