For certain specific searches, my adwords capaign will show up but not the titles. I'm running adwords campaigns for 5 to 6 different clients and the same thing is happening to all of them. Is this happening to anyone else? Does anyone have any explanation? Should google refund me part of my money?

I would bet you just installed Norton Internet Security or another similar program. This program has ad blocking built in, and it is turned on by default. You will need to turn it off to view the titles (which are the links from Norton's POV). It will block the titles for Adwords in the serps and AdSense (there are two URLs - conversion tracking and non-conversion tracking, it seems to currently block the ones that do not have conversion tracking enabled).

Here is some more about this:

Thanks Jenstar. However, I do not have Norton Internet Security. I run Norton Antivirus but am still using 2003 not the 2004 release. There must be another explanation for this problem. Please keep in mind, I see my ad. I see other advertisers' ads & titles. I do not see my titles. It seems its only the ad titles that are getting affected and then only in certain instances. Not all the time. I have noticed this happening to other advertisers as well.

Check to see if you are only getting one version of the URL with a missing title - one URL is page2.googlesyndication.com and the other is googleadservices.com. This still sounds like some sort of ad blocking at work, since only titles are affected.

Any chance you have spyware/adware? Or have you recently installed any helper applications? What browser(s) are affected?

Thanks Jenstar. I have been trying to recreate this problem; but have been unable to do so. I suspect that I first noticed it occurring only on a computer that might have been running Norton Internet Security. (Which is why I believed it to be intermittent.) Making your first response the right one.

I'm sort of late to this party, but I've recently learned something interesting.

Norton Internet Security 2004 (and others?) seem to block ads with URLs which include words like 'ad', 'ads', 'adwords', etc.

So my guess is that if you have tracking URLs which include things such as source=adwords, you'd be better off with source=aw instead.

Might be worth checking with Norton, to understand the nuances. But this seems to hold true.

Hope this isn't old news. ;)
