How can I delete an Ad

I accidentally made more than 1 ad for an Ad Group. I just want to have one ad for this group. How can I delete the other two?

Just select the ad you want to delete and hit a "delete" mark at the bottom of the ad.

I don't see a delete button on any of the ads. Does the campaign have to be active in order to delete ads withing ad groups?

Campaign summary->Campaign 'name'.

Click box next to the ad group you want to delete & 'delete'.

or

Campaign summary->Campaign 'name'->your ad.

Top left, just above the date, is 'delete'/'undelete' function.

Does not matter whether the ad is active or not.
At the right of your ad you see:
{+ Create New Ad
1 of 2 Ads: View all below }

Hit "View all below". Your 2 ads are located at the bottom of the page. I think you have a long list of keywords and unable to see them.

I can view all ads, it says 1 of 3, but I can't seem to find the delete button.

Underneath each ad at the bottom of the page, you should see this text:

# Clicks
Served - X% [more info]
Edit - Delete

Click on the delete text.

I am in Campaign Summary-->Campaign #1-->My Campaign Name, I go to the bottom and see my ads, but do not see a delete or anything of that nature.

the only thing I see is,Back up to keywords

I had to resume the ads activity in order to delete the ads!
