That's a bit low isn't it.

I've had CTR's of 200% & 150% quite a few times on 1 or 2 impressions.

You'll just have to try harder or you'll end up getting flagged as At Risk :)

This one comes up from time to time in the AdWords forum! Since no one has explained why it happens yet, I'll chime in.

There are thousands of servers at work behind the scenes, and they do not all update at the same moment. So it's possible for the server delivering the 'clicks' stats to be running a bit ahead of the server delivering the 'Impr.' stats.

You will see it even out before too long.

I'll grant you, it sure seems odd until you know why it can happen!

AWA,

I was gonna reply, but thought I would let you explain in proper terms.

after all gotta have something for you to do, apart from eating ice cream and chatting to all the googlettes with your new found fame :)

only kidding, and thanx for the explanation.

My pleasure!

...your new found fame :)

Uhm, Shak, do you know something I don't know?

(BTW, no ice cream for me since the day you sent some over.)

I had this happen once with 2 clicks on 1 impression. Adwords customer service said that the user clicked, visited, hit the back button, then clicked again.

Also quite possible, sort of like walking into the same store twice at a mall. But I'd say the other reason I mentioned is more common.

hi AWA,

your explanation sounds ok but this campagin has been on hold for over 15 days now, so not possible for out of synch server.

Not an issue for me, just the first time i saw this ..!
