broadmatch at work in a strange way

why you should be careful when using broadmatch

Just done a quick search for DMOZ on Google here in the UK and was a little surprised that the AdWords ad is for Adult Toys.

Search on .com results in a related adword.
I tried it on .co.uk and sure enough, s*x toys.

Content match snafu?

have you tried seeing what more specific keywords come up when you use the google sandbox tool for dmoz...

broad match at work...

Hoho - that matching is most certainly 'broad'...

Maybe might be one for Google to manually adjust :)
