Ads sometimes take up to 2 WEEKS to get activated

This is annoying!

I have an ad that constantly gets its keywords disabled even though the CTR is great and these words arent in any of my other ads that are active or deleted. I constantly have to keep deleteing all the keywords out of my ads and adding them back in. My main question is.. When I add the keywords to my ad again.. why does it sometimes take up to 2 WEEKS for my ad to get activated? This is totaly unacceptable. I know that they need to manually check ads that have questionable keywords but 2 weeks is rediculous.

Have you tried contacting AdWords about this?

Are they of a "sensitive" nature like adult?

It sounds like those words might either be of a sensative nature, your site has broken the TOS w/ pop ups or something in the past, or you're ads in the past had been disabled due to advertising something G doesn't want advertised.

In the above cases, sometimes G flags the account and reviews ads/kws manually before showing them.

If you've never done anything 'sketchy' and aren't getting an AdWords email as to why your ads are being disabled - give them a call and see what someone looking at a control panel for your account can tell you - they'll have much better access to specific info that we have here.
