All ads stopped working....?

Hi

I started off on Adwords a couple of weeks ago with some pretty good success.

I then went and added some more Adgroups and things went wrong. From the point of making this change, I did not get a single impression. Nothing (I was getting a couple of thousand one one ad with some good CTR).

I then started reading the help (as one always does AFTER the fact). I noticed that one of my ads had a spelling error. Will this stop ALL of your ads to be displayed?

I also noticed that popups are not allowed. Will Google "freeze" your ads if you have popups? I removed the popup.

Any help would be appreciated.

Best regards

Yes, if the landing page has a popup they'll usually stop serving the ads, but send you an email explaining what they've done and why. Once you've fixed it, they'll allow the ads to run again.

If you look in your account it should show "one ad deleted/suspended" and you can click on a "show reasons" button for an explanation too.

Thanks Michael

Yes, I suspect that's what happened. However, I didn't get an email and all my Ads show up as "Active".

Try looking at the individual keywords or Adgroups. It's a long time since this happened to me though, so they may have changed the format a bit.
