My CTRs are up, but conversions are appalling.

If it goes on like this I will need to find a job. Gack!

My average CTR is the same as before Christmas really.

However, my average CPC is *so* low at the moment - Google are practically giving away the listings!

People must have wound down their advertising over the holidays or something, as there's v little competition at the moment for me. Bizarre...

My CTR is staying about the same or mybe a bit up, but the total number of clicks is only about 2/3 of what it was. My concern though is like SlyOldDog said, conversions of all traffic not just Adwords is droping through the floor. I actually went and ran through my site and cart because I was afraid something broke.

I just checked my sales from last year. It was very quiet from Xmas until 2nd Jan last year, and last year new year fell midweek.

Hopefully things will pick up on monday. [crosses fingers and touches wood]

My CPC is also way down, and my ads are appearing in the magic top level a lot more often. Someone must have decided to pause their ads for awhile. Too bad conversions are way down, also waiting till next week and hoping it gets better.

The huge contender for my most valuable keywords has also gone away though, so not all is lost.
