Hello,
just found the site think its great! I hope to learn tons from it.

Quick question we use Almost exclusively Exact and Phrase match for our campaigns. First let me note that our product we offer isnt exactly something that people are going to be searching for and buying on the holidays, however we have seen an overall drop in impressions and clicks by abou 40-50% over the last week.

Does anyone else experience this change over the holidays when folks may be away from their computers? Im hoping after the New years Holiday we will see a return to our previou levels

The week and a half surrounding Christmas and New Years is always the slowest time of the year. Over the past eight years, Christmas day has always been the lowest traffic day of the year on one of my sites. Traffic levels on the Internet should start picking back up to normal this coming Monday.

That big goose egg on Christmas day was a shocker. Maybe my web stats program took Christmas off....

The week and a half surrounding Christmas and New Years is always the slowest time of the year.

I've heard the same (or something very like it) from several advertisers in the past couple of days myself.

I guess everybody is taking a short breather before they go out looking for stuff for themselves again. ;)

I do wish you all the best of success with your various businesses in the New Year. Sincerely so.

Have to say that Monday, the 29th was the highest number of visitors in a single day in our history.

We are in the warm weather tourism business so it's always possible that winter is getting to people by now. :-}

Over the past few years, we see traffic build during December until the 22nd, the last possible day that a package can be overnighted and still arive for Xmas. After that, traffic usually is off and on until January 3rd (they use the 2nd to figure out what happened at work for the past two weeks) when people wake up and realize the holidays are over and it's time for a new year.
