I have been trying for 3 days to create an adwords account for one my clients whos site is gone from the free listings and I have not been able.

I get to different steps at different times but never through the whole thing.

Are they getting hacked?

Is the system being overloaded by the number of people that now have to create accounts (exaclty what they want)

or what?

amazing how everything can be blamed on the latest algo change in natural serps.

my dry cleaner ironed my shirt incorrectly today, I am sure hes been affected by the latest shift in listings :)

This is a Google related forum
and I think the items could be related

I posted here for feedback hopefully from others that may be having the same problem

not to get my post ridiculed by a mod

I had the same problem today, it was kicking me out every 5 min or so... Just ended up doing it one step at a time rather than all at once and I was able to get it all through.. (create account, log back in, add adgroup, log back in, add another add group, log back in, etc..)

Are you using Internet Explorer? Some people have had problems using IE - try using an alternative browser (ie. Mozilla, Netscape, Opera) instead and see if that works.

jj,

my post was very tongue n cheek, and apologies if you took it the wrong way.

I dont think there is a over demand, more of a technical issue somewhere along the line, as various members have expressed their concerns since last week.

everything from log-in problems, to certain browsers not being able to access adwords section.

may be worthwhile tring at a very quiet period, however since you have already been trying for 3 days, I would suggest an email to Google.

hopefully AdWordsAdvisor can shed some light on the situation.

I've noticed it lately while generating reports - choosing the .csv option invariably threw me to the login prompt, but if I asked for the html option first and then I called the csv download, it was fine.

The symptom was that the CSV option immediately displays a dialog box that omits the file name and extension, then the save/open process fails because there is nothing to

Adwords support told me that I might be using a proxy server that changed my IP address during the session. I don't think that is possible. Not using the proxy server still displays this occasional problem.
