adwords budget

I have a quick question I just want to make sure what i am seeing is right

does the ads run full tilt until the budget comes close -- i noticed that but 8pm -- my budget is close to being maxed out -- in fact, since starting to budget -- i have noticed that i haven't made any money after 8pm

other than upping my budget -- is there a way to get this come out more evenly over the day

As far as I know, Adwords tries to spread your impressions out over the day. Toward the end of the day, if you're low on clicks, it'll speed up, and if you're very close to your budget it'll stop suddenly.

If you notice that you stop getting clicks after 8pm but your budget isn't completely used, it's probably waiting until it gets closer to midnight.
