I've just discovered Adwords won't let me run over 25 campaigns per account. I have nearly 200 specific widgets to advertise. Individually they generate little traffic. Combined it's huge.
Is there any way around the 25 campaigns per account limit short of setting up multiple accounts? Thanks for any help.
You can designate unique CPC's and landing URLs by individual term if you need to.
rbarker, within your account you can create 2500 unique Ad Groups, and each one can be about a different thing.
You may create 25 campaigns, and each campaign has a suggested limit of 100 Ad Groups = 2500 Ad Groups.
So buckworks was right on target. ;)

"a suggested limit" I love that ^_^
Yep, I know what you mean fidibidabah.
As many on this forum have discovered, there is not a 'hard' limit of 100 Ad Groups. However, beyond that limit one increases the chances or creating problems, such as sluggish navigation, page updates, etc.
In the worst case I've seen, one advertiser brought his navigation to a virtual standstill. For example trying to simply change the date range on his 'View All Ad Groups' page became next to impossible. His little IE flag waved merrily away for 15 minutes or so, then timed him out. Not ideal.
More evenly distributing his Ad Groups (and in his case, the keywords as well) amongst other campaigns brought things back to normal.
So yes, it is a suggested limit. But suggested for a real-world reason.

...AdWords also has limits such as 2000 words per AdGroup...
Thanks justshelley. To revisit suggested limits for a sec, shoot for:
* a max of 750 keywords per Ad Group,and
* a max of 2000 keywords per campaign.
And again, the 'suggestions' are tied to maintaining optimum account navigation, etc.
