However if one has set up only exact matches i.e "[blue widgets]" for a particlar AdGroup. Any guesses on how Google determines that the Content is an Exact match?
I would understand if as an extreme example there was a site with the only the words "Blue Widget" and the Ads were returned. However if the content was "I am passionate about blue widgets and love the way blue widgets shimmer in the dawn" then I would not expect the Ads to be returned, except if the keywords were broad matched keywords or Phrase matched keywords.
In other words I would expect to see very little if any impressions from content targetting for exact matched keywords, but on some of my adwords this is not the case!
I seem to be getting a bucketloads of poor converting impressions, I know I could turn content targetting it off but I am interested in finding out how exact matching works for content trgetted ads.
Any ideas on how this scenario works or how people think it works would be appreciated?
