error logging into adwords

new account, never got the email, but my password works

I singed up for a google adwords acount yesterday and never recived the email confirmation notice, and only got errors trying to log in "unable to process your request at this time"
i get the standard wrong password page if change my password, and the reset password option recognizes my email, any ideas on what might be casing this?

I had a similar problem with adwords, every time I tried to create a new account explorer just froze, I switched to Opera and had no problem at all, simply try a different browser and see how you go.

If you didn't recieve an email confirmation email, I'd advise writing AdWords support to let us know, and to request assistance.

When you write, please write from the exact email address you used in setting up your account. This will allow us to manually confirm within your account that the email address is working. Our team will then reply to your email with login instructions.

I have yet to recive an email other than the "we got your email" email from google on this yet, but the error has changed to something quite interesting, the text on the page is an acess denied text. but the url is very interesting:

I do have an adsense account, and it is the same uname/password but i didn't see about any issues with that
I get a "bad password" error when i use the wrong password.

stargeek, based on this most recent info, this certainly sounds like an issue for AdWords support.

I am not up-to-speed on the details, but I think the problem most likely does stem from having both AdWords and AdSense accounts with the same email.

Your email should set the process in motion to get things worked out.

Others have reported problems signing up for Adwords after having an AdSense account, when you are using the same email address, so this is likely the problem.

if i use a differant email to sign up would that be a problem, that could get me banned? I've read elsewhere of that happening.

On a related note; I get kicked out of my account more often these days than usual e.g. when I just want to see another date view. My session is certainly not expired or anything, it just kicks me back to the login box and when I re-login I'm where I want to be.

Anyone else notice this?

No, that was one of the recommended solutions in an earlier thread. The problem would be if you have two active accounts using the same keywords that Google would see a problem with it.

wow i'm seeing errors all over the place, Only IE sort of works. In firebird te cpc estimate is broke, and the sign up form doesn't work. In IE i get a server error message.

I am getting internal server errors. No way to log in.

Not even the login page appears!

Login for adwords works again but the traffic estimator is still down.

Oh well, at least this shows somebody is working on it...
