For Google AdWords, when editing URL's, please what is the hierarchy?

When I am changing urls (say to do tracking urls to a specific page) I went in and edited where it says "Edit CPC/URLs". ((To make this a tiny bit clearer, this is where one has to put a check in the box next to the ad you want to modify.))

This is good - it enables me to see all of them in one place and "copy down" to make things easy.

Yet, when I go in another way to look at the actual Ad Edit Panel, I see the specific landing page and tracking URLs that were carefully entered in the "Edit CPC/URLs" do not appear to be consistent with the edit. This is very confusing.

What I am speaking about here specifically is where it says "Destination URL (maximum 1024 characters)" and allows one to edit title, line 1 and 2, appearing URL and destination. When I view the ad in this fashion, I can see just below in column format that the "Destination URL" is indeed changed - it yet it is not the same as what is showing just above it.

Please, Which edit method predominates over the other edit method?

Brief testing indicates it is the "Edit CPC/URLs" that predominates (not the actual Ad Edit Panel) although it is hard to see due to the fact that I have both National and Regional ads running.

Happy TG Tomorrow!

The ad edit panel is the default url for that group/ad. If you specify a different url for certain keywords, the default is over-ridden.
