So I'm off and running with AdWords, so far so good. Now I'm trying to learn how to really optimize my campaigns before adding too many others. My question for you "pros" is: do you generally use broad match with lots of negatives, or do you use phrase and/or exact match keywords? And speaking of negative keywords, what is the proper way to add them? The documentation doesn't really go into this, unless I'm blind. Do I add negative keywords as separate keywords on their own line? If so, it seems so "messy" and confusing when I view all my keywords, with the negatives mixed in like that. Also, once I added the negatives in this fashion (I am assuming this is how you do it for now) the keyword tool stops working. Maybe I just need to get used to it, but it all seems so messy. Or do most of you just have 100s of exact match keywords?
