Reporting Adwords Abuse

Little help, AWA?

If we are sending an e-mail reporting suspected AdWords abuse (ie. one advertiser appearing multiple times on a search), is there any benefit to making the e-mail Attn: AdWordsAdvisor and mentioning our WebmasterWorld id (like GG suggests for filing SPAM reports)?

You mean there are perks of being part of WebmasterWorld to other providers? ;) I haven't noticed anything special, my responces get a reply to in 3 days max.

Hey Ally_Cat, that would seem to make sense, wouldn't it?

But honestly, it would simply slow your response down.

"Why?" you may ask. Well, my primary job isn't involved with the many emails that come in each day - so your email would most likely languish, as I simply wouldn't see it.

On top of that, my daily 'must do list' already overfills a 12 or 13 hour day. So, while I wish I could provide that sort of personel service, I am bit short of bandwidth.

I gotta get home at some point to polish my dozens of vintage portable typewriters, after all. ;)

I think GG is super-human, though. No question

Ally,

I would always recommend putting your webmasterworld NIC down.

Google has a lot of respect for this place, same as we have a lot of respect for Google, and they know 1 thing for sure:

"We actually get, whats going on"

Thanks for answering AWA - I'll leave you out of this ;)

I'm going to take Shak's advice and put my WebmasterWorld alias in the e-mail, but only as an "afterthought".

Thanks again! :)
