Higher CTR with Google Update

I'm kind of curious to find out, now that Google is undergoing a giant update, and what seems to look like a lot of irrelevant sites/pages are taking the top rankings, are you recieving a higher CTR with your Google AdWords campaigns?

I had started a simple AdWords campaign roughly 3 weeks ago. Saw a steady, to low CTR and ROI over those weeks. Then one afternoon my CTR and ROI surged like a spiked tech stock on the market. Over the last few days it's been fluctuating between super high, and just high.

Even though people may be complaining about how the new results are bad, and how pages are dropping like flies, I'll tell ya one thing, the traffic is DEFINITELY still there.

Anyone else notice this?

I thought I noticed the same thing. And it made sense. If the SERPS are no good, why not click on the adwords ads? And one day this did seem to happen. But in looking at my statistics, my CTR for the last several days is similar to, or slightly less than, that for month-to-date. Adwords total clicks for me are down about 30% this week compared to normal.

I noticed the same thing and I'm very happy. (10% better CTR!)

Maybe Google could comment on this?

I have seen a higher CTR also but I have attributed it to holiday shopping.

My initial reaction to the Google update was that is was mediocre, but as things have sifted out, I think this update overall is pretty high quality. My main page dropped like a rock but my internal pages have seen an increase in traffic.
