PR Drop after Adwords expire...

Are PR and Adwords linked?

Hey,

I had one of my pages put on an adwords campaign with a limited credit. The page, along with the rest of the pages on my site was a PR3 but after my adwords campaign finished the page mysteriously lost PR and went down to a PR2. All the other pages are still PR3.

Any ideas?

(Btw I wasn't sure weather to post here or in Google News - please move if I was wrong) :P

maybe I should try doing this to competitors, seems a very cheap and easy way of making people lose their PR and rankings
