I run Google Ad campaign in chinese and I set up the Ad opened in all countries and all languages. But I can't see my Ad anywhere with that chinese keyword. Today I visited www.google.co.jp and searched that keyword, and my Ad appeared. My God! But I still can not find my Ad outsite Japan.

At first I think google disapproved my Ad, so the Ad did not show. Actually, my Ad showed ONLY in Japan. Terrible bug.

I created a new campagin, the same thing happened.

BTW: My competitors Ad with that specific keyword works fine.

I can't say for sure but go back and actually hand pick the countries you want your ad to be shown in and see what happens. The other question is where are you searching from?

The ad display can depend on your actual location (your IP) as well as on language setting on your computer. So check that your OS and browser have chinese as first language.

Strange. How did it appear on Google Japan if that was a trouble with IP or OS? Strange.

I am located in China and the OS is win2k Chinese.

The same thing happened to my another old campaign!
Very terrible thing!

Few weeks ago, I created a Ad with 5 chinese keywords. And setup this campaign opened in all countires and languages.
I found that only four keywords work fine, the last keyword never showed to anyone, and the IMP,CLICK,CTR is ZERO.

While visiting www.google.co.jp and searching that keyword, my Ad appearedd! Only showed in Japan with that chinese keyword. Faint!
Then I clicked my Ad. Today I found google has recorded my CLICK, and updated the IMP & CTR.

What terrible thing! Is this a big bug for Chinese Ad?

BTW: Google forbid chinese customers to use chinese phrase "Search Engine" as their keyword and displayed in anywhere of the AD. FUNNY THING! I have ever informed Google about that thing, they COULD NOT resolve this bug within few months, or they never care their chinese customer.

I wish Google pay more attention to chinese! More than 20 millions chinese using Google in China!

I can attest that your ISP IP can influence what you see.

I worked for a company who's IP block was owned by a company in Japan - I am in Canada. Whenever I started a google search, I got google Japan :( They claim 99% correct country identification, but there are plenty of companies with blocks owned by others, so I think google's numbers are way exaggerated.
