Adwords login issues

I finally decided to try the Adwords program... :)

So I registred, received a confirmation email from Google, gave my credit number and so on...

Checked my ad and indeed it showed up... Kewl, good job Google!

But... 10 minutes later I wanna log in to change the ad:
a) Error: password not correct
b) Forgot my password link => error: email not known...

Duh? Just received 2 mails so...

Am I to AdWord newbie or is this not normal?

Hmm. You might wait an hour or so and try it again. I haven't heard of this happening, but we definitely want people to be able to log in to AdWords!

Alas, a day later the same problems are there.

But I think it's a bug...

1) Open Google.com / Click on 'advertise with us'
2) At the bottom of that page you have:
'If you already have ads running in the original AdWords cost-per-impression program, click here to log in.'
So click on the log-in link.

From here on I can't login.

So I decided to re-click on the link in the mail that was sent to me by Google. And.... no problem.... I logged in nicely.

You are going to the wrong log in box, you do not have the original AdWords (which charged you per advert display - not per visitor click).

You need AdWords Select (the new version):
[adwords.google.com...]

I'm glad it wasn't just me. :) Luckily my account has only been open for about five minutes, so when I couldn't log in, I came back to WW. Thanks to you & gsx, I can now log in.

Would be nice if we could even get our campaign(s) started! Not disapproved, account funded, no answer from support despite 3 or so emails over the past month and a half.
