I was getting at least 9 clicks a day for this ad group and all of a sudden I've recieved no clicks the last few days.
I can't think of any reason for this to happen except that I changed the display URL (not the destination URL) on my ads to read the same as the destination URL. Today I checked Google's affiliate sites and my ads do not show up anymore. But they do show up on Google and I'm still not getting any clicks! Would changing the display URL have anything to do with this?

yep,

your ad has to be approved "again"

I can't believe changing the display URL puts the ads through the editorial process again. How annoying.

what if someone changed it from a family site to a Hardcore Porn site?

As a user, how would you feel?

If the destination URL was changed, I can understand them reviewing it again. Changing the display URL does not change what site the ad links to.
Anyhow, I'm just frustrated so that's why I'm annoyed. Google has to stick by their policies, but I don't know why it takes more than 3 days to check a display URL change.

I agree with what you are saying, but lets not blame everything on Google.
