Hi Guys,

Was just wondering if it's ok to include a price in adwords ads. I seem to remember seeing a price awhile back, but can't seem to find any ads including prices now.

Something along these lines is what I was thinking.

Instant download, only $19.97 Aff

Thanks

If you put a price in the ad, be sure that you send them to the landing page where that price actually can be found or very close to it.

If the page containing that price is not within one click of the landing page, they will disable the ad.

Thanks Robino,

Talk about a speedy answer to my question, I'll login and include the price right now.

Cheers.

A price will not keep tire kickers away.

Good analysis of keywords and buyers intentions may reduce the number of tire kickers. I can click on any ad (price included or not). Target your potential customers.

Maybe it won't keep them all away, but my CTR is huge and
yet very few sales. I've got to try some sort of pre-qualification.

Thanks anyway.

Chernelle, also be sure you're sending Google's user to the most appropriate page on your site. Often, this will not be the home page, but a page a bit deeper in that is about the same thing that the Ad Group is about.

Many advertisers are not aware that they can send our user to a particular page per keyword. This is very easily done (assuming your site is configured in a way that allows you to take advantage of it), and can really improve your ROI.

Chernelle,

My advice comes from experience. I spent money and targetted the wrong people. Its a learning thing - I got burned but I think the medium is good - just my judgement was way off base.

I'm always appreciative of any help and advice I recieve. I've been following this forum for quite awhile now and have found it really helpfull.

I think I'll leave the price in the Ad for a little while longer though, if only to see what effect it has.

In the meantime I'll put my thinking cap on with regards to better targetting and take another look at my Kw's.

Thanks again.
