Now what's the answer? Exact match seems too restricted, broad match too broad, phrase match largely none relevent to my terms. Combinations I am finding difficult to guage and manage.
What are people doing? Any tales of broadmatch improving things or is it all woe? Has everyone retreated to exact match?

a combination of all 3, with an emphasis on "phrase match" and [exact match]
works for me and my friends (I only have 2 though)
