Broad match words disapproved

How can they disapprove you for a word they show you for

I wanted to track all the broad match options I didn't set up negative keywords for. The sandbox clearly shows that my ads will be showing for certain keywords, yet when I added these keywords to my lists, all of them were disapproved.

Does this mean they hold us to a different standard than they hold their own matching technique?

Not very sure whether I understood the question. Do you see a red star or do you see 'disapproved' next to the keyword?

The keywords with "disapproved" next to them are generally trademarked keywords.

The keywords are disaproved, no CTR issues in the accounts, and are also not trademarked.

The origional term is 'teen widget', the broadmatch term we are being shown for is 'teenage widget'. If we try to bid on 'teenage widget' we get disapproved for the keyword, yet our ad is still shown under our broadmatch bid of 'teen widget' for the term we got disapproved for.

So basically, our ad is being shown for keywords that we are being disapproved of having in our account.

And this is why you call customer service...
Seems it was a mistake of someone at G not unchecking a box, and all the keywords should have been approved, and none of them should have been declined.
