I just notice a banner ad for Google on Register.com. This is a major change for Google. I have never seen them advertise before. I wonder if they are paying for this advertisement of if the traded advertising with Register.com?
Interesting that google does not mind banner ads as long as they are not their network;). It looks to me register.com is promoting the adwords use, perhaps for a fee or barter trade. Hope we don't see register's banners on google;)

The sourceid makes it look rather like an affiliate link, but I can't see any invitation to sign up.
Maybe a trial run or a few hand picked 'partners'?

Well, Register.com has a Premium Advertisement with placement on the top of this page.
