Well, it has been about a month since Google released it own version of PPC in AdWords Select™. Give it a grade.

A - Great! Wouldn't change a thing!
B - We have seen some decent results. Worth the money.
C - So So, but still worth trying.
D - Didn't get the results we were looking for.
F - It is a waste of money.

Just curious what you all think. I have been on the fence waiting for some input.

we're enjoying our AdWords Select experience so far. I like being able to instantly tweak the ads unlike in OT where you have to wait for days to get something changed.

I see a lot of people in this thread talking about tweaking keywords, which is fine and necessary, but as our campaign goes on, we see that changing the text/approach of the ads every couple of days produces a noticeable spike in clicks and keeps it fresh - I think that's the real advantage of the google program.

Thanks, JayC. I'm still having a mental block, though, because the way they phrase it in the FAQ makes it sound like they're also checking the last 1,000 impressions for all of your campaigns combined.

I understand the resetting of an individual keyword or campaign and how you do that. I think. But something I'm not clear on is, are they saying that you pay $5 every time you want to reset something in your account?

I think their FAQ are inconsistent or I'm quite dense.
