Hi geeks,

I am planning to go for adsense, here is where you can have a look [google.com...] What i want to know is
(1)"Is it good for my business?",
(2)"Will it help me in PR and positioning in google"
(3)"As i am not planning for my first pages, i am planning for inner pages or irrelevent pages, where my customer will not have a look?"

First time i am going to do this, please advice me before i go for my first night.

Thanks

Aji

You really need to be posting in the AdSense forum...

I think webmasterworld itself selects the best forum for it, as i am new to this forum, can i really force my posting to a particular forum.

You said good for your site, is it with keywords and clicking or something more. Google says that pr wont be affected but may be some consideration type. The reason i am not putting that in my first pages is, i fear my customer will get diverted. Mine is a mainly web based company. They will kick my belly.

Welcome to Webmasterworld - you can choose the forum you post into - There is a right hand menu on the site homepage.

1.Content matching is good for my site, and clicks generate some extra income.

2.As Far As I Know Google does not boost pagerank for Adsense publishers. No-one will know here.

3.I guess you will have to work out what benefit is gained from the click - but losing the customer, against keeping the customer on your site - this could be on a page by page basis.

Adsense is great for terms that you do not rank high for naturally (in the free results). That is what I use it for most often.

I suspect, and have read, that it will not help with PR. If it did it would taint the SERPS and may open them up to legal problems. But then again, how could you prove such a thing.

By the way.... this is a non-violent place... so we will not kick any belly, or anything else.

still confused whether you mean:

becoming an adsense publisher

or

adwords advertiser.
