What is the highest keyword cost per click you have seen on AdWords during the estimates?

So far I found Car donation at $25.88.

Is anything higher?

We have been through this before. One of the highest areas are some of the legal class action terms.

Shak

Since Google caps search costs at 50 dollars a click, that evens out the playing field a bit for ultra high search terms doesn't it? Any of us could have a go if we dare ;)

Its the classic and it remains the highest bid term from the day PPC started

Go to Overture and look it up. The top terms should be similar on both duopolies, er, I mean websites.

Forgive me lord for I have sinned.

I have clicked the number 1 result in Overture for "Mesothelioma Lawyer" but I didn't even know what "Mesothelioma" meant.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld, travisk. You may want to edit your first post a bit. There are people of many different professions among the members, including some lawyers. I believe that they know the ToS rather well!

Well with the legal terms some of those cases can bring a lawyer anywhere from $1 mil to $16 mil per case.

This is very dangerous. If one of the competitors makes only some fraudulent clicks per days, you'll go out of business very soon.

I work for a Mesothelioma Law Firm and we are now #1 unpaid link for the Google search term Mesothelioma Lawyer. It took a lot of work and effort to get this top position in a tough marketplace and yes these keywords are the highest on the internet ever, I do believe. We presently pay $100. per click and I just adjusted our costs because one of our competitors clicked on our ad repeatedly until it reached the maximum bid amount on Overture. I do not have a degree in law or even a legal background and it is kinda fun to have the funds available for creating a marketing campaign which landed us on top. I am usually limited to the amount of money I get to spend on marketing and have learned a great deal due to this experience. I will definately be adding this to my portfolio.

Take care and thanks to whomever sent me an email with a heads up to this forum link.

Was that last post for real - or was it meant as a joke? I can't quite tell except I'm veering towards joke.

The information he gives is true it does cost $100 for that term. I got several that cost a lot as well. We played in the Mesothelioma field for a short time but decided to spend our money in areas where we could get a more stable return on our money and a quicker return. Those cases are not a guarantee. One case can bring 7 or 8 figures.

If Google does punish sites for buying PR your site will go down goneriding. Don't plan on being there for much longer.
