can search directories use adsense?

ive seen many search directories use adsense.
google doesnt allow this but many are still using it.

frankly i want to use adsense on my search dir too.

any advice?

AdSense is allowed on directory pages, just not on search results pages. If you have more than 20 million monthly page views, you can apply for their premium service.

If you have more than 5 million monthly searches, you can apply to display Google's sponsored links.

If you don't meet those numbers, apply for a regular publisher's AdSense account. They'll review your site, and will email back with an acceptance or rejection, usually within 24 hours.
