Hi all,

We have a tracking system in place that works of the adwords CSV file.
We are trying to find a technical contact at google USA who design the reporting system as the reporting format has changed and effected our tracking system.
We have tried going through google UK who say that our email has been forwarded on, but 3 weeks on we have not had a reply.
Does anyone here know if there is anyway to get in contact with the adwords tech team at google USA direct?

Thanks,
Mike

michaelbs, I think that this is a query that should really go to adwords-support@google.com.

Three weeks is a long time to wait, so I think your email must have been lost-in-transit somehow. I hope you will write again.

Based on what you have said, however, I may have an answer for you. When you run a report there should be a small link at the upper left of the report that says: DOWNLOAD (.csv).

I hope that clicking this link will give you the report you need.

AdwordsAdvisor,

We are trying to find out exactly what encoding they are using for there CSV? We are trying to get our database to read it. Do you know anything about this yourself?

I will still make an email message today!

Cheers, Mike

michaelbs, I am afraid I don't know the answer to this question, but I will do my best to find out in the next few days - and post again.

I'm stretched a bit thin at this moment, so thanks in advance for your patience!

The csv files are just plain text. However, they do seem to have a null character implanted in them for some reason... Strip this out and they are fine...
