Hi guys

I just noticed Google.es is launched with Adwords.

I use geo targeting on my normal Adwords account to target Spanish searches. Do I need a Google.es Adwords account for any reason?

Thanks

Nope, you can target countries and languages from your existing account. You can login from any local Google or main Google, doesn't make any difference.

Thanks for the confirmation. You never know when you might be missing something ;)

If Google has an Adword Support team in the country you are geo targeting then there is an advantage in using the Adwords Login for that country. You don't need a different account, your existing account will do. However using the geo login gets you specific support for that market from the Adwords Support team.

When did this start? Has anybody spoken with their support team?

In the US I haven't been able to get through to anybody that does support in Spanish.

After 2 weeks I got an email from 1 woman - my sense is that's all they've got.

Info from Adwords, with my comments in brackets. The full message also included email address and phone number -

It may not look that different from your previous log-in page; however, using this (geo specific login) page will ensure any queries you send to Google via the Contact Us link within your account will get routed immediately to the (geo specific) office.
