Hi,

New user here. Can anyone tell me how I can resume my campaigns after they have been stopped by Google for low CTR? I've tried the 'resume' button, with no effect!

The button will still show, but your campain will be active!

Try do do a search after one of your keywords..

Hi Finoo

I've been checking my ads for the last 24 hours and they've still not showed up after resuming campaigns.

I don't know about a campaign, but if it is just an ad, you just need to modify the creative. You can just change punctuation and it will reset the counters.

Tweaking your campaign should work, if not nothing else to do but call Google.

Thanks for your responses, I have tried everything. Will just have to await Google's response.

SteveSPN, the 'Resume' button is not actually connected in any way to reactivating your account when it has been slowed for low CTR.

The resume button is used when an advertiser has paused a campaign, and then wants to restart (or resume) it.

If you find that your account has been slowed (showing double gold asterisks), then analyze why this has happened, make appropriate changes, then click the 'Restore full delivery' button. As noted recently in this forum, you may need to log out, then log back in to see the double stars go away.

Also, please be aware that hitting the 'Restore full delivery' button will not restore a disabled keyword (with one red asterisk) to active status. One must first delete the disabled keyword, then re-enter it, hopefully with a more targeted ad, or in its own Ad Group.
