Sweet deal for them. I know I turn so many people on to them they should have an affiliate program for referring accounts if they spend over x amount a year ya get a credit or money for it :) Id turn even more people on to them but right now they dont need to since people are killing to spend advertising money.

That is a _huge_ number of advertisers. Seems like Google is golden as ever ;)

Good find! It's been busy lately: AdWords up to (11? I know they just added Finnish) languages. google.es and google.se just launched--they're, like, "es"-"se" palindromes or something :). The Spanish office in Madrid is open. Toolbar 2.0 with form-filling and pop-up blocking is now available in Spanish, German, Italian, French, and Japanese. Geosearch is a nice little demo of an interesting idea. And going from 100K to 150K advertisers would be a nice announcement all by itself. :)

Doh! Make that 12 languages, and that's not counting UK English. It's hard to keep up sometimes. :)

Thats a bonus :)

Well done Google.

With that much money coming in, try to stay even cleaner on your results page and leave the top-northern banner away to make place for related searches [webmasterworld.com]
Left is search results - right is advertising - used to be a very clean presentation.

Some countries/languages serps in niche areas are still so virginally clean, I would not dare to advertise and let the ignorant competition have an idea. On the other hand:

I had a client coming in recently congratulating me on the single little "award box" Google gave me to the right of the search results

"Google Awardwords program" :)
