Adwords & Sponsored Links

Have they always been the same?

Appologies if I'm being thick, but didn't the 'Adwords' (down the right) use to be different to the 'Sponsored Links' across the top (the 1 or 2 pastle links above the results).. .

We've an adword with an AvgPos of <1.0 which seems to be appearing at the top above the results.

Far be it for me to complain - just surprised that's all. ..

Has this always been the case?

TIA & TTFN :)

Sometimes Google will bump up an AdWord ad to premium listings because your CTP is above normal, and there is a spot available.

There is a thread here somewhere on this... but could find it.

fathom,

Thanks - that makes sense.. CTR is > 20% and there's no other Premium Listings.. ( Pretty specific search.. )

TTFN, :)
