I have set up a google campaign for a new web site. Everything appears fine except that if I search for the words / phrases I don't seem to appear - like this for 4 days! Any ideas?

Thanks

did you activate your account? You have to pay 5$ and activate your account. After that the ads start appearing real quick.

I have had a google account since last year!

I even went in and re-entered my card number in case it had expired - still nothing! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAgh!

Hello everyone, This is my first post here :)

I have the same problem with Adwords. I have just created a campaign and when I search by the keyword I don't see my advert appearing. The campaign is active and all is OK except that nothing is showing up!

Any ideas will appreciated.

Cheers,

Are you seeing other ads served up and just not yours?
Is your CPC set way low?
I entered a test keyword when I started mt last ad. It's a mispelled version of the other keywords. I used it to test to see if the campaign was running.

Hi jbinbpt,

The recommended maximum CPC by Google was $5.00. I have put in $4.00 for the keyword I want. I see other adverts for the same keyword, but not mine!

The average cost per click for the keyword is $2.72. My daily limit is low but that shouldn't affect my advert listing.

To get an average cpc, it has to be showing up. Have you tried searching at different times of the day? Try really early. I persume you tried this morning and saw nothing? Try adjusting the adwords interface to show just yesterday. That might give you an idea of whats going on.

hidesmith:

I opened up a new AdWords account a few weeks back and had a similar experience. I got a few exposures at low rate for a short time. After that no more exposures.

I wrote adwords support and a day or two later someone reviewed the account and enabled it for full rate exposure of ads.

No similar problems since then.

I tried everything, but no results. I have sent an e-mail to Google's adwords support telling them about my problem.

Lets see how it goes.

Hi,

I've run into this problem in the past - it will almost certainly have been caused because you've attempted to use some keywords that have been flagged by Google and that they need to check manually. For example, some copyrighted terms cannot be used as keywords.

Suspect that may be the problem.
