Don't they want to talk to us or something?
Google has an excellent email service in place. I conduct most of my communications with them in that manner with satisfactory results. They would probably like for others to go that route as well, because frankly it's probably more economical.
As for the way I feel about it, it's a jungle out there and if you can't wise up to the basics of internet search, never mind anything that needs two brain cells to figure out, you're going to be left behind, and deservedly so.
If you want to do the lost, the helpless, the needy, the naive, or whatever you choose to call them a favor, the best thing you could ever do is teach them how to fish for the information.
That way, when they're scratching their heads next week wondering how they can contact Overture, they know how to find that information.
If you merely hand out the information, what will they do next week? They're going to come right back here with their hands out asking for another fish.
By giving people a direction you empower them to become better marketers. By handing out information you are perpetuating their ignorance, perpetuating their role as a beggar. There is nothing nice, or helpful, about keeping people in the dark.
That's why I choose to empower them. It's the best anyone can do for another person.

And by the way, I easily found Google's corporate headquarters' phone number long before posting - what I was asking for was a specific AdWords cust svc number. It seems that you spent far more time ranting than actually giving up that one fish that may have, in turn, headed off others asking the same question - or simply ignoring the post altogether.
I'll file away that Hoovers.com link away for when I need Google company statistics. "Wise up to the basics of internet search" indeed.

Hi there,
No offense intended, that's why I wrote, "or whatever you choose to call them" because there are those who don't fit into the categories of helpless, lost or naive. I certainly don't mean for you or others to refrain from posting. The entire point of my post is a suggestion of a better way to help people- which is where my heart is at.
In the United States, if you have Google's corporate number in hand then you are halfway to AdWords because if you listen to the message, within about 10 seconds, they tell you the AdWords phone number.
That's how I obtained it. ;)

That fish has been handed out many times yet that didn't head you off from asking, did it?
Unfortunately, not everyone is able or willing to do a site search (for whatever reason- and I'll refrain this time from naming them).
