Thanks for the welcome. I'm marketing a B2B sevice that's sells for hundreds of dollars. My inclanation is to think that Google itself will be better than AOL and the rest of the network; but I have no evidence to support that hunch.
My hope is others have relevant experience.

You are probably right TommyNY - I don't think too many surfers would go to AOL to look for something like "ERP software". In terms of searches yes, Google would probably contribute more than 60% - 70% of your AdWords traffic (For most B2C segments of our clients, Google hardly contributes 30% - 40% of the total traffic).

But ROI for B2B segment through partner sites? Not very sure about that - you should probably do some testing with a keyword ROI tracking software.
