I received an email that an ad I had that went directly to ebay (using affiliate link) couldn't be used due to popup that Ebay had added to their site. I noticed though now that ebay has pulled their popup.

I also there are a lot of ebay affiliate adwords up again. I used the support form online but never heard back but it seems that adwords won't automatically find sites that now have no popups but you must contact them to re-review. Is that right from anyone's knowledge of this? Thanks.

You just need to go in and modify your ad to get it running again. I normally just add or take off a period at the end.

Just a warning though, ebay has submitted a trademark complaint that would make it so that you couldn't use the word ebay in an ad. Those ads may get shut down permenently here shortly.

Hi. Thanks for answering my question. I see so many people write get x at ebay
Is that a trademark issue? I'm confused now if you are supposed to leave it out of the ad. It seems like false advertising to not list it actually. Thanks.

It will be soon. I don't think the trademark dispute is final yet, but it is in the works. After that, it will still take the the adwords team several weeks to find them all in the ads, although ebay is such a huge advertiser, that they may make a special effort.

Also keep in mind that eBay advertises on over a million keywords and their own ads will not be pulled for trademark (since they own the trademark).

Gee, I thought E-bay has been so exposed that it would be considered common usage, and exempt from trademark infringement.

I guess you will need to use the Newfoundland spelling E-baie :)
