Ask Jeeves/Espotting

Oh, and they are raising their minimum bid to 5p like Goto - now that is a silly move - what is the point in being in both PPCs which both show on Ask Jeeves at the same price!

This whole thing could get very silly. It'll soon be the search services pitching to put their top ten results above anothers. LOL

I agree - 5p is based upon nothing else but GoTo UK. Although, i'm sure they will tell us otherwise.

Espotting are now showing Inktomi results which have a Europe/USA filter AND are showing Inktomi paid listings, most of the top 10 Espotting results are not taken up by PPC. I have noticed that you can get by the UK/Europe filter by having UK in your title or url (as in waffle-uk.com). As Ask Jeeves currently use UKMax (URL filtered) as the only Inktomi serving (UK Goto only serves up paid for results) this could be a nice opportunity to get UK related .com sites in to Ask Jeeves for free! It is quite hard with AV UK and Mirago.
