I was speaking to the Webfinder rep today who claims that Ask Jeeves UK will very shortly be displaying Google results in the main serps.

I am cynical about the accuracy of this info. Anybody else heard this?

are we referring to Adwords, or results currently provided by Teoma/Ask as backfill?

The words he used were 'the main results'.

I assumed he was talking about the results below the sponsored listings, but I must confess I didn't realise the those were Google Adwords until 2 minutes ago.

However, he said it was happening very soon...meaning it hasn't already...

Sounds like hooey to me!

Why be there earning money from PFI and XML feeds to your own engine and then drop it to pay for a rivals results!

But, in this world, who knows!

I will eat my foot if ASK start showing Google as their main serps. And you can hold me to that.
