Check out the Overture listings on MSN UK. Notice any difference, or is it just me?

Yeah it looks a bit like Adwords style, but then again, there isn't endelss ways you can present the ads on either.

position 1, 2 and 3 are still in MAIN body, and position 4 > is located at right hand side like adwords...

be interesting to see if it means less traffic for Looksmart directory or ppc listings?

There is one other change. In the old SERPS many keywords (brand names for example) returned no overture results. So a good Looksmart listing could get you #1 on this type of result. Now there are overture results for these keywords.

Could an overture position 4 get more clicks than a 3? ROI has got to good at position 4 now (also like 8)

Overall - Good for Looksmart and very good for Overture. With more results to chose from on a results page titles and descriptions are more important than ever.

Yip, this is going to be a real interesting ride.

Will the Google format mean that 4 to 8 will be more relevant than 1 to 3 on Overture. Considering that MSN is Overture's biggest client is it worth just concentrating on an Overture campaign at MSN, if this is going to be the point.

Will there now be a bidding war to get position 4 and not 1?
