A few weeks ago I had at least 58 pages on AltaVista for one of my sites and now it is down to 16 pages.
Has anyone else had the same problem over the last week or so. I do not use their paid submission. The pages that are still on AV were on there a few weeks ago.
Why leave some on and take others off?

Actually, they've been spidering regularly and I've noticed a lot more refreshed records.

Even after the big O bought them, they are still using several indexes. You'll probably be back in a couple of weeks.
