I'd like to get a client's site a new listing in Looksmart. They're already in, but it must have been done a few years ago, and the description is poor.
I'd like to change it and I know you can pay for a review to do this. My worry is that it may not be worth the review fee if the editors don't change it enough.
Anyone had any success paying for a changed listing?

I would go for it, they seem to be pretty flexable. If fact I may even try and change one of my own, thanks for reminding me! you first though ;)

I think its worth it. To get the title and description you want think like an editor would. Make sure it complies with their guidelines and aim to write a description that will need little editing to get the keywords you want in.
Good luck Smiley

Well, since I'm a Zeal contributor, I'm quite confident about sticking to the guidelines :-)
But I've never attempted to change a paid listing, and it's the client's money at stake, not mine.
But, I'll take the plunge and let you know how I get on.
