Yahoo UK filter change

Just checked some results in yahoo UK and looks like they are applying the same crude geo filtering as AOL. i.e. using the country extention co.uk. Tried several searches and there are no .com .org etc..to be found. Nice one Yahoo!

Yep, only when you select UK only option. If you search the directory, UK only, .coms do appear.

I concur. It seems that depending on the URL you visit and the pages you search as to what results you get. I found that sometimes, when trying to go the the US version of a search engine, you get automatically redirected to the UK version due to the language settings in your browser.
